Cheese Innovation Days 2017
Set up as a complete line, the performance, handling and design of the Weber machines impressed over 200 trade visitors in equal measure. In particular, with the presentation of the VMAX packaging machine as part of the lines, Weber demonstrated the extended range of perfectly integrated and fully automated solutions available this year. From dividing and measuring the cheese to precise slicing and depositing through to quality control of the packaging - the range is characterised by Precise and automated processes that minimise the need for manual intervention in the customer's production process.
One highlight was the latest addition to the Weber slicer family, the S6. Its vacuum grippers, presented for the first time at the event, enable maximum product yield as remaining end pieces are reduced by more than half. Also unique to date is the Fourfold track-independent interleaver. The products are guided to the cutting edge completely individually so that incomplete portions can be completed and transported away as required.
