This triad is intended to stand for everything that characterises the special machine manufacturer from Pfalzgrafenweiler in the Black Forest and makes it a sought-after partner for national and international customers.
Tradition: from 1969 to 2019 into the future
For 50 years, the name KOCH Pac-Systeme has been synonymous with Development of customised packaging solutions based on sophisticated machine technology. KOCH presented the first forming, filling and sealing machine back in 1973. Today, the portfolio ranges from individual sealing machines for small and medium runs to high-performance blister machines for complex requirements and the KOCH packagingLine for a fully integrated packaging process.

Motivation - building on what has been achieved
This approach has enabled KOCH to achieve constant and solid growth. The first foreign subsidiary was established in the USA in 1996. Today, the company is also present in France, India, Singapore and China.
On Company headquarters in Pfalzgrafenweiler a lot has changed. The company moved into the site in 2009 with around 190 employees, but the number of skilled workers has increased to over 400 today as the company has developed into a global partner. The site has also been successively expanded: the capacity in final assembly has doubled to 3,500 square metres. In the assembly hall for large-scale projects, the 8,000 square metre Several packaging lines in parallel be built up.
And further expansion steps in assembly are planned for the coming months. In addition, the new office and communications building is to be inaugurated in the anniversary year. It offers 120 workstations and state-of-the-art structures for cross-departmental, networked working.

KOCH has been a member of the Uhlmann Group with five companies, 16 locations and around 2,200 employees worldwide. While Uhlmann covers the entire pharmaceutical packaging process, KOCH is active in the fields of medical technology, consumer goods and contact lenses. Synergy effects arise here particularly in the area of Medical technology with the KOCH medplus brand.

Innovation as an element of success
The digital services from the portfolio are exemplary of the company's innovative strength K 4.0 as a supplement to the classic services. The digitalisation of the packaging process and new forms of packaging are the Future topics of the next few years. The agenda includes customisation down to a quantity of one, but also environmentally friendly alternatives to plastic.
