According to the company, money and labour can be saved with the Roll-Safe transport securing system for roll containers offered by RS-Systems GmbH from Schärding in Austria. The solution is also sustainable.
The product is aimed at retail companies, particularly food retailers. The aim is to Load securing will no longer be limited to single-use containers for their transport containers. Stretch film but the highly resilient Structural chamber panels from RS-Systems use.
Save 2,000 euros per year and lorry
The company highlights some of the advantages of the patented product: per lorry, the costs for load securing could be reduced by up to 2,000 euros per year thanks to the reusable plates. The time required for a loading process is also reduced by around 40 minutes. This results in a Annual working time savings of 150 hours per lorry.

RS-Systems states that retail companies such as Transgourmet, Naturkost Erfurt, Spar in
Austria and Manor in Switzerland have already opted for reusable load securing from our own company. „Manor AG, for example, reduced its costs by the equivalent of almost 80,000 euros per year with the help of Roll-Safe because it completely dispensed with film. In addition, the purchase and maintenance costs of the wrapping machine were eliminated,“ says RS-Systems Managing Director Martin Köllner.
Roll-Safe consists of two highly resilient structural chamber panels, which are bonded together using special Tensioning straps on Trolley can be mounted flexibly. When goods are removed, the panels are fixed to the side walls of the container to save space. „In this way, we ensure easy handling and unproblematic storage at the same time,“ explains Martin Köllner.
Order picking is made easier
After the Order picking the Cargo container simply closed again. Grocers also have the option of attaching card pockets to the trays. This makes order picking much easier. Thanks to the welded edges and smooth surface, the Roll-Safe elements are easy to clean. The panels can be customised with the appropriate colour or even a company logo to match the corporate design.
RS-Systems offers Roll-Safe in two versions. With „Roll-Safe flexible“, the panel is hooked onto the vertical struts of the mobile container using four hooks. This allows the system to be removed quickly and reattached just as quickly. The „Roll-Safe fixed“ is firmly attached to the container with a hinged strap and is therefore an integral part of the roll container. „We have dispensed with rubber straps for both versions due to the risk of injury and instead use straps made from a latex-textile mixture,“ adds Martin Köllner.
