Filling and capping specialist Groninger has added a new blowing machine to its product portfolio. The „FlexClean“ is designed to score points with greater flexibility, quality and performance and, according to the Schnelldorf-based company, follows the „ready-engineered philosophy“.
With the new machine, the first finished unit of which was recently delivered, the company is continuing to pursue the Business Line concept in terms of modularisation, writes Groninger about the FlexClean-Blowing machine. The Business Line has already been used for several years in the product areas Cosmetics and Health Care offered.
Previously, blow-out machines were purchased externally
„In the past, we had bought in the blow-out machines externally,“ recalls Michael Steck, team leader in the design department. Now they themselves have a Stand-alone machine developed. Steck cites „more flexibility, more output and more quality“ as the advantages of the system. The system has an oval design. The time span in which the bottles are upside down in the transport device and are blown out is therefore considerably longer than with a round circulation. This reduces the likelihood of dirt particles remaining in the bottles.
The machine concept also allows for a higher degree of flexibility: the Base holder can be different Transport carrier be placed. In the small format ranges, where high outputs are often required, three objects per carrier can be blown out simultaneously. For large formats, one or two objects are blown out per carrier. The machine can therefore achieve an output of up to 180 bottles per minute.
