Giulio Mengoli has been the new General Manager of the SACMI Group since 1 June. His appointment was officially made by the Board of Directors of the parent company SACMI Imola. The 49-year-old from Padua has extensive international experience and has held leading positions in France, the United States, Brazil, Sweden and Italy. He takes over the baton from Claudio Marani, who has headed the Group since 2016.
The meeting with SACMI took place in November 2018 and Mengoli acted as General Manager of the SACMI business units for 7 months, working directly with current management to establish the Group's governance and strategic planning.
Giulio Mengoli takes over from Claudio Marani, who has headed the SACMI Ceramics Division since 2000 and has been the Group's General Manager since 2016.

In the medium term, in addition to developing core sectors, SACMI's focus is on digital transformation and the circular economy in order to offer products and services that are increasingly customised and meet the real needs of production and the market.
