Merger of KAPAG and Oppboga Bruk

KAPAG Karton + Papier AG (KAPAG) and Oppboga Bruk announce the merger of the two companies in order to utilise synergies at market and product level.

KAPAG Karton + Papier AG (KAPAG), a leading paper and board laminator, and Oppboga Bruk, the main supplier of laminated board for signs and displays, announced the closing of the agreement on 17 July. Merger of the two companies.

Mr Alexander Meyer, managing owner of KAPAG and new majority shareholder of Oppboga Bruk, is delighted with the takeover.

Andrew Robinson, Managing Director and new minority shareholder of Oppboga Bruk, also emphasises that this collaboration will enable the company to Synergies at market and product level utilise, Strengthening research & development and Share resources can.

The owner of Oppboga, Mr Lennart Larsson, has sold the majority of his shares as part of a succession plan. All existing jobs within the two organisations remain unchanged.
