The family-run company J+P Maschinenbau GmbH from Kreisa stands for customised solutions for end-of-line packaging machines. The machines have a compact, hygienic design, pack a wide variety of products at high outputs and allow a wide range of formats. Three new solutions from the current machine programme will be presented at this year's FachPack.
J+P has had compact machines in its range for several years for packaging individual products for horizontal or vertical presentation in trays with lids. With the End-of-line packaging machine type KWH-DT bags, boxes and blister packs are packed in trays with lids on the inside. The trays and lids are placed on a working level each folded and glued from a flat blank during the packaging process. Up to 240 pouches and a maximum of 15 lid/tray containers are produced per minute.

The speciality of the Carton filling machine EP - Insert packer is the use of single and double-row fan chains or standardised product transport technology. Single and multi-row as well as single and multi-layer groupings - the insert packer can be Flexible and customised to the respective customer wishes configure. The EP carton filling machine can be combined very flexibly with tray and carton erectors, box (de)stackers, carton sealers and lidding machines.
Operator guidance and format change
Highlights of both packaging machines are the LED control panel and the Format change. The LED operating guide is integrated in the upper panelling for each machine door and functional modules and is used to identify the status of the machines in yellow, green, blue or red. The format change is quick and easy via „J+P-simple-quick-change“ possible. Format adjustment and changing of format parts is carried out without tools using the same lever elements throughout.

Also a Product stacker PS is included. It complements the J+P product portfolio of „fully automatic machines“ with a Cost-effective packaging aid, which stacks horizontally fed products such as thermoformed packs, trays, folding boxes or bags, thus simplifying the manual end-of-line packaging process.
