Paul & Co GmbH & Co KG from Wildflecken presented its future strategy 2025 at FachPack, focussing on its global market presence. With thirteen networked locations in Europe and Asia, paper cores, edge protectors and core board can be delivered easily, safely and quickly to all countries and continents.
With an enormous investment volume, which has been channelled into production facilities, research and development, logistics buildings and IT at all locations, the medium-sized company has positioned itself holistically for the future. The company's own paper mill Carl Macher, together with Papeteries du Rhin, which is also part of the Group, will reach the mark of 300,000 tonnes of core board per year crack.
Paul & Co had numerous product innovations in its luggage that make a clear statement in favour of the versatility and surface possibilities of paper cores: The Self-adhesive stretch sleeve, which enables reels to be changed in automated stretch film lines via magazine feed while the line is running at full speed. The core is designed for rewinding stretch film between ten and 35 my and the first sleeve with „sticky note“ adhesive equipment available for mass production on the market.
Added to this is the hygienic sleeve with long-term contamination protection: with a completely newly developed Hygiene sleeve with active antibacterial protective barrier Paul & Co sets an international benchmark for paper cores for hygiene-sensitive applications.
A unique surface impregnation prevents and even eliminates bacteria, such as Staphylococcus aureus, for a period of up to three months. This preventive protection against contamination has been confirmed in several laboratory tests.

[/infotext]Customer and service orientation became part of the corporate culture at Paul & Co at an early stage:
„Our employees know exactly what is at stake and are motivated to find the optimum solution for each customer. customised to develop. It is crucial how well we know our customers and how effectively we use this knowledge to place the right advisory offer with the customised product at the right time and, above all, how good our service is.“
