Management change at the Romaco Group

Markus Kimpel has been appointed as the new CFO of the Romaco Group. He succeeds Carsten Strenger, who is leaving the company at his own request at the end of 2019.

The Romaco Holding GmbH has appointed Markus Kimpel as the new CFO of the Group and Managing Director of the Romaco Pharmatechnik GmbH production site based in Karlsruhe, has been appointed. He takes over both positions from Carsten Strenger, who is leaving the company at his own request at the end of 2019. Together with Romaco CEO Jörg Pieper directs Markus Kimpel will take over the management of the international Romaco Group. He shares the management of Romaco Pharmatechnik GmbH with Markus Regner. Both as CFO and in his role as Managing Director of Romaco Pharmatechnik, Markus Kimpel is responsible for the company's Finance, Controlling, IT and Human Resources departments.

In the course of his almost 25-year career, he has collected Markus Kimpel He has extensive management experience in the construction and automotive supply industries as well as in mechanical and plant engineering. After completing his studies in industrial engineering, the Frankfurt native held various management positions including Managing Director, CFO, Finance Director and Acting Plant Manager. Most recently, he worked as Commercial Managing Director for the Aalen-based Alfing Sondermaschinen Group and as Group CFO for aluplast in Karlsruhe.

Trend-setting change management

„I like to take on new challenges,“ explains Markus Kimpel. „The final integration of the Romaco Group into the Chinese parent company Truking requires both commercial expertise and diplomatic skills. I am very much looking forward to this exciting task and working with my new team. Above all, because I can see the development opportunities and growth potential that the German-Chinese business constellation offers for everyone involved.“

In May 2017, the Romaco Group, one of the world's leading suppliers of processing and packaging technology, was, from Deutsche Beteiligungs AG to Truking-Holding was sold. A three-year plan has been drawn up for the integration of Romaco into the operational Truking Technology Ltd. In 2020, Romaco Holding GmbH and its subsidiaries will be incorporated into the listed company Truking Technology Ltd. The Chinese pharmaceutical machinery group Truking Technology Ltd. has been listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE) since 2014.
