Miraclon this week received the FTA Technical Innovation Award for its Kodak Flexcel NX Ultra solution, which represents a novel approach to flexo plate making with water-washable plates.
The Flexcel NX Ultra solution is one of two winners in the Category Prepress - Graphics and the only award-winning product in the Printing plate technology.

The award winners were announced at the beginning of this week's 2020 FTA Virtual Forum, and the festive Personal award ceremony is now planned for the FTA autumn conference.
In 2009, shortly after its market launch, the Kodak Flexcel NX system was recognised by the FTA with a Technical Innovation Award. And as predicted by the jury at the time, this technology has helped to Capabilities of the modern flexographic printing process over the last decade. This second FTA Technical Innovation Award for the Kodak Flexcel NX Ultra solution with the Kodak Ultra Clean Technology is a confirmation of Miraclon's commitment to continuous value-orientated innovation for the benefit of its customers.
