Envases takes over Huber Packaging

The Huber Packaging Group is moving under the umbrella of the Envases Group. A corresponding acquisition agreement has now been concluded.

The Huber Packaging Group is moving under the umbrella of the Envases Group. As Envases Europe A/S has now announced, an agreement has been concluded to acquire the European manufacturer of metal and plastic packaging.

The acquisition, which is still subject to review by the competition authorities, is expected to go ahead, completed in the first quarter of 2021 will be realised. The financing for the transaction has already been fully committed. The Huber Packaging Group, based in Öhringen, operates sites in Germany, England, Switzerland, Austria and Hungary.

Further development for Huber Packaging

Envases Europe A/S employs 1,100 people in Europe with production facilities in Denmark, Sweden and the Netherlands and supplies customers in more than 30 countries. With the addition of the Huber Packaging Group with 900 employees and six production sites Envases Europe expands to 2000 employees and 13 production sites.
