In collaboration with Streuli Pharma AG, Hoffmann Neopac has launched a dropper tube for the direct administration of a vegan vitamin D formulation.
The concept of the new nutritional supplement Luce D3 from Streuli Pharma comprises a vegan vitamin D solution in a tube with a dosing dropper for safer and more accurate dosing.
Supported by the good barrier properties of the Neopac characteristic polyfoil tube, the vegan formulation is also seen as an attractive option for the growing number of consumers who prefer products without animal ingredients. The Dropper system releases individual drops when light pressure is applied to the tube, with each drop containing 200 IU of vitamin D. The vegan vitamin D3 product can be administered directly into the mouth thanks to the easy-to-carry and easy-to-use tube.
Polyfoil tube for precise dosing
When using the Polyfoil dropper tube with a diameter of 19 mm and screw cap, the dropper mechanism is equipped with a special insert for liquid and oily contents as well as serums. By adjusting the mechanism to the correct product texture precise dosing and thus ensure an optimum droplet size.
Polyfoil is a protected trade mark Material mixture with enhanced barrier properties. It offers products comprehensive protection against potentially damaging external influences such as moisture and oxygen. Polyfoil solutions give products a longer shelf life compared to products in traditional packaging made of polyethylene or polypropylene.
