Ishida, a manufacturer specialising in weighing, packaging and quality control systems, wants to get closer to its customers in Germany and Austria. Since Oliver Blaha took office as Managing Director at the beginning of 2020, Ishida GmbH has opened a branch in Hamburg in addition to its long-standing location in Schwäbisch Hall. Furthermore, a comprehensive reorganisation was carried out in the areas of sales and customer service.
Ishida is expanding its decentralised service structure in order to be able to respond to customer enquiries even faster and provide a significantly higher level of support. As part of a recruitment drive, the division is currently being further staffed up to ensure better area coverage and therefore shorter response times.
At the same time, Ishida is organising sales according to the southern and northern sales regions, which is now also reflected in two company locations. In addition to the established location in Schwäbisch Hall, a branch office has been opened in Hamburg, which also carries out project planning and offers customer training on a complete packaging line.
As a subsidiary of Ishida Europe (England), Ishida GmbH has expanded its workshop activities at the Schwäbisch Hall site against the backdrop of Brexit and also repairs machines and components from neighbouring European countries there.
