Mondi is increasing production of its paper-based Mailerbag range in response to strong demand for flexible eCommerce packaging.
The packaging and paper company Mondi is increasing its capacity for its paper-based mailing bag range to replace even more plastic packaging in e-commerce with recyclable solutions made from responsibly sourced paper. renewable raw materials to replace it.
The innovative MailerBag is now available in three designs, with the flat-bottomed version complements the existing range of folded and gusseted bottom bags, each of which offers consumer-friendly packaging with several advantages. These include easy sealing for packing, expandability for bulkier goods and easy resealability for returns.

Mondi is investing in its European locations in order to improve and expand its services for customers by increasing the Mailer bag-production to around 350 million mailer bags per year and responded to the strong growth and the Customer demand for flexible packaging in eCommerce is responded to. As a replacement for standard plastic mailing bags, this production expansion has the potential to replace around 7,000 tonnes of plastic per year.
