Bluhm Systeme GmbH will be showcasing highlights for product and packaging labelling at Fachpack, including the Legi Flex 3D labelling portal and a new label printing dispenser that processes labels without liner material.

A special trade fair highlight is the Legi Flex 6100 3D labelling portal: this label printing dispenser is capable of, determine the position of a cardboard box using a camera and its applicator precisely to this. If products cannot be precisely guided or separated on a conveyor belt, this system still ensures reliable labelling at a previously precisely defined position. The Legi Flex 6100 therefore offers maximum flexibility when labelling cardboard boxes.

Sustainable labelling

The new NoLiner is a label printing dispenser that processes labels without a liner, thereby enabling sustainable and cost-effective labelling. The System has an atomising unit, which applies a fine water-based liquid film to the back of the label after printing. Spraying with water activates the dry gumming so that the labels can then be applied to products and packaging in the same way as conventional labels.

The elimination of the label liner saves resources and reduces waste costs. Hold label rolls without liner more label material with the same roll diameter. This not only saves space during transport and storage. It also means that fewer roll changes are required during the labelling process. Another advantage: label rolls without backing paper are cheaper than conventional self-adhesive labels.

Labelling pallets without a safety fence

The AP 182 intrinsically safe pallet labeller, which can label pallets on three sides without a safety fence, has been upgraded: The new AP 182 RT version features a rotating dispensing stamp, which enables labelling in both portrait and landscape format.

An inkjet printer in the size of a toolbox: the Linx 10 is a mobile continuous inkjet printer for entry into industrial labelling. Easy to operate, it prints up to three lines at a speed of 2.66 m/s. It can be optionally mounted on production belts and equipped with an automatic line speed sensor.

Quick and clean labelling of film packaging

The Linx TT 1000 is a new direct thermal transfer printer For direct labelling of film packaging. The device prints with maximum flexibility at a resolution of 300 dpi at a speed of up to 1,000 mm/s. Print widths of up to 107 mm and ribbon lengths of up to 1,200 m are just as possible as intermittent or continuous printing. The Linx TT 1000 has a user-friendly HMI, shortens set-up times thanks to its ribbon cassette system and saves ribbons by minimising print gaps.

Robot colleague

Bluhm also shows what laser-robot collaboration makes possible: „Robot colleague“ picks up a folding box and holds its four sides in front of the laser head one after the other. The laser marks each individual page with customised information. Plain text and logos are just as possible here as one- or two-dimensional codes. This is just one example of the wide range of applications that can be realised with robot support in the field of coding and marking.
