Ballerstaedt is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year, has strengthened its sales team and is presenting a single-variety plastic sealing film at Fachpack.

The Ballerstaedt & Co. OHG from Rastatt is well-known in the packaging industry for aluminium sealing closures and sealing machines. Now the family-run company is presenting Sustainable mono sealing films before.

As an alternative to conventional sealing materials, which usually consist of composite materials that cannot be industrially broken down into their components and are therefore difficult to recycle, the Ballerstaedt the unmixed plastic sealing films BaCo Sealfilm Mono-PET and BaCo Sealfilm Mono-PP developed.

Thanks to their barrier against oxygen and water vapour, the mono films combine good product protection with optimum recyclability: both sealing films are made of single-origin plastic (PET or PP) and can therefore be separated or disposed of with the packaging in the respective recycling stream. The mono films are suitable for sealing products from all industries.
