Joh. Leupold GmbH & Co. KG, Schwabach, a Carton Group GmbH company, joins the Fachverband Faltschachtel-Industrie e.V. (FFI). Strobel AG, Roth, is also part of the group of companies following the takeover as part of a succession plan on 1 January 2021. As a folding carton manufacturer, Strobel AG has been an FFI member for many years.
As specialised folding carton companies, Leupold and Strobel are part of the Carton Group GmbH group of companies under the management of Waterland Private Equity, an independent Dutch private equity investment company that supports companies in realising their growth plans.
"The FFI offers a wide range of services and products. A regular exchange within the industry, in which we want to actively participate, is very important in order to further expand our expertise and thus our positioning,“ says Michael Fuchs, Technical Managing Director of the Group, explaining the company's decision to join. „Following the partnership with Strobel joining the FFI seemed like a logical step. We are very pleased to be able to support the association in its important functions with our collaboration.“
