The Japanese plastics company JSP is quickly reorganising the production of its big bags in the EMEA region. From now on, the containers will be made from up to 50 per cent recycled polypropylene.
The company wants to fulfil its own sustainability requirements. The PP is sourced from a European supplier. In this way, JSP hopes to reduce CO2-The aim is to reduce the carbon footprint of the company's own polymer Arpro by up to 40 per cent. In addition to the switch to recycled PP, optimisations in logistics are also contributing to this, according to the company.
The changeover of deliveries to customers with the new big bags will take place in the course of May.
