
Metsä Board and Klöckner Pentaplast were delighted to receive an award from EcoVadis. The companies were honoured with a platinum and gold rating for sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
Metsä Board was once again awarded the platinum rating for sustainability and corporate social responsibility by EcoVadis. In doing so, the company was able to score once again to a new record compared to the previous year. With a score of 87/100, the Finnish cardboard manufacturer continues to be among the top 1 per cent of companies rated in the production of corrugated board and cardboard as well as containers made of paper and cardboard. In addition, Metsä Board achieved the full 100/100 points in the environment category for the first time this year.

Also Klöckner Pentaplast was pleased to receive a good rating. The company was recognised by EcoVadis was awarded a gold rating for the second time in a row.
With its Gold rating, the company is among the top 3 per cent of plastic product manufacturers assessed. The Evidence-based evaluation includes strategies, measures and results in the key sustainability and ESG dimensions Environment, labour and human rights, business ethics and sustainable procurement.
