Plant for closures receives ISCC Plus certification

The Guala Closures Group received the ISCC Plus certification, confirming the sustainability properties of the closures. 

The Scottish plant of the Guala Closures Group has received ISCC Plus certification from Bureau Veritas. This is the company's third plant to be honoured. The award confirms the sustainability properties of the closures. 

The recognition confirms that Guala Closures „Circular Packaging“ and „Bio-Circular Packaging“ closures, which, thanks to the Control of the entire supply chain, from raw materials to end products, certified as sustainable are. The ISCC Plus Certification enables companies to monitor and prove the quality of their products by verifying sustainability and traceability requirements along the entire production chain. This represents a real commitment to supporting a circular economy and helps companies to act more responsibly towards the environment.

The Group has been actively committed to sustainable development for over ten years. In 2020, the company launched a series of sustainable closures - Blossom Sustainable Closures - designed according to the Group's ecodesign guidelines to minimise their environmental impact.
