
Executives and managers along the value chain will gather in Berlin for the 18th time from 30 to 31 March. The early-booking phase with discounts for the German Packaging Congress runs until Friday 17 February 2023.
The motto of this year's German Packaging Congress is "How VUCA is changing the (packaging) world". VUCA stands for Volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity - all topics that are currently preoccupying the industry and will continue to do so in the future and require new questions, new thinking, new strategies and new means.
In Lectures, discussions and workshops with experts these topics will be highlighted at the Packaging Congress in Berlin. The event will also focus on the topic of sustainability, which continues to move the industry. Does a new definition need to be found here?
Important topics for the industry
The congress deals with the question of how the Maintaining the competitiveness of energy-intensive companies in Germany leaves. How can brands survive the crisis and emerge stronger? Also on national and European regulationsThe report takes a look at the changes that the industry needs to adapt to. And what is advisable in view of the creeping end of "change through trade". With the highly acclaimed television documentary "The Recycling Lie", the congress will take another topical issue as an opportunity to shed light on the state and prospects of the packaging circular economy.
On the second day of the congress, the dvi a series of workshops in which selected aspects of the congress will be explored in greater depth. These will cover topics such as software as a driver for the circular economy, success factors in collaboration between companies and start-ups, ways out of fossil energy in the course of decarbonisation, AI-supported optimisation of the recycling of plastic packaging and more.
