World first: completely closed plastic pallet box

Hygiene is the be-all and end-all for technical and logistical processes involving pharmaceutical and chemical products, food and cosmetics. Plastics specialist Craemer has developed the new HB3 pallet box from PE: hygienic, robust and ideal for this area. According to the company, its latest development is a world first: the HB3 is the first and only completely closed pallet box on the market with welded runners.

Available in industrial dimensions with a net weight of around 42 kilograms (without stiffening profiles), further characteristics of the pallet box from Craemer790 millimetres high, 580 litres capacity, 5,000 kilograms stacking load and 900 kilograms payload. Thanks to the welded upper and lower sections, it has a high degree of rigidity. The bending stiffness can be optionally increased with three additional metal profiles.

The smooth interior walls allow for Easy emptying, simple cleaning and drying. The almost invisible, contour-milled weld seam, the minimal ribbing and the rounded shape also contribute to this. The double-walled design of the side walls provides increased impact protection against forklift tines, while the reduced drive-in height ensures smooth processes in automated high-bay warehouses.

The new HB3 is available with a choice of two closed or open bung holes. The all-round stacking step makes it Compatible with a wide range of other containers. A custom-fit lid is available as an optional extra and can be fitted with RFID transponders.
