EXPRESSO Deutschland GmbH, Kassel, is pressing ahead with the further development of its mobile handling and transport system lift2move. While the company presented the hybrid AGV version of its multifunctional industrial truck just a few weeks ago, it is now presenting the new „impulse“ drive module for its universally applicable intralogistics solution to a broad specialist audience for the first time.
As it not only serves as a travel drive, but also as an approach and climbing aid, it increases the mobility of the handling system and significantly reduces the strain on the user.
Modularity scores points
The lift2move is one of a new generation of highly functional industrial trucks that can be flexibly adapted to a wide range of different intralogistics requirements thanks to their modularity. By driving under pallets or with the help of product-specific manipulators, depending on the model variant Moves payloads of up to 400 kilograms can be used. The lift2move performs all handling tasks (lifting, gripping, tilting) via the kinematic interaction of its electrically operated lift mast with electrical or mechanical load supports, while it acts as a hand-guided feed system for all pick-up and delivery services.
Thanks to the low-lying chassis, high-quality smooth-running castors and adjustable push handle, these manual transport journeys do not require a great deal of physical effort from the operator. The powerful „impulse“ travel drive is now available for all lift2move models with swivel castor chassis for payloads of up to 225 kilograms and is also available as a Retrofit kit available.
