At LogiMAT 2018, HSM GmbH + Co KG, the southern German manufacturer of baling presses, PET solutions and document shredders, will be presenting economical and space-saving waste disposal solutions.
The HSM V-Press 860 L vertical baler produces bales with a recess for easy transport without a pallet. The bales can be moved directly with a pallet truck or forklift. The HSM V-Press 860 L is equipped with HSM's specially developed Rapid traverse technology. This significantly reduces power consumption and drive power while simultaneously increasing throughput. The cycle time is reduced by up to 40 % with this technology compared to conventional drives. Thanks to special pump technology, the machines are particularly quiet.
Thanks to a pressing force of 548 kN and the extremely stable pressing plate guide, it effortlessly presses used packaging material such as cardboard and film. The bales reach a weight of up to 460 kg and are held together by 4-fold wire strapping as standard, with polyester strapping also available as an option. The HSM V-Press series combines HSM's quality standards with high profitability. Its performance and durability make it an economical disposal solution: The HSM V-Press reduces costs for the usually underestimated Waste disposal„ cost centre“.
For bulky cardboard packaging
With its technical features, operating concept and design for bulky cardboard packaging, the HSM HL 7009 horizontal baling press is the ideal machine for chain stores and retailers. With an extremely high pressing force of 700 kN, the HSM HL 7009 is suitable for cardboard packaging but also for pressing film. Depending on the material, the highly compressed bale can reach a weight of up to 600 kg, has a bale size of approx. 1100 x 1100 x 1200 mm and is held together by a 4-fold wire strapping. The optimum bale dimensions and bale weights guarantee economical lorry utilisation. Filling takes place conveniently by means of a hydraulic lift and tilt device. The hydraulic sliding door also ensures maximum operating convenience and safety when removing bales.
