It all kicked off today at 9 a.m.: ProSweets and ISM opened their doors at the Cologne Exhibition Centre. For three days - from 23 to 25 April - everything in the cathedral city will revolve around the world of sweets and snacks as well as their processing and packaging.
Around 117 companies from 23 countries will be presenting innovations and current developments at ProSweets. These include market leaders as well as medium-sized companies and smaller specialised suppliers. According to the organiser, the significant increase in participation from the Sweet & Snackable Ingredients segment was particularly pleasing. Compared to the previous event, more than twice as many exhibitors from the raw materials/ingredients/semi-finished products sector will be represented. Against the background of stronger consumer demand for sustainable and at the same time technologically convincing products this segment is becoming increasingly important. This also applies to the coming years and the further development of ProSweets Cologne as a supplier trade fair for the confectionery and snack industry.

Due to the one-off postponement - ProSweets usually takes place in January and February - we are ProSweets Cologne will occupy a central area at the heart of ISM this year, the leading international trade fair for sweets and snacks. The strong demand for participation in this unique special format led to this, that the originally planned area had to be extended several times.
