The Hubergroup has joined the supplier advisory board of Fördergesellschaft Metallverpackungen mbH (FGM). The Fördergesellschaft Metallverpackungen is a subsidiary of the Verband Metallverpackungen e. V. (VMV).
Metal packaging and metal closures are required for a wide range of applications in industry and trade. For example, technical food and luxury food cans or metal IBCs and beverage containers made of stainless steel and aluminium must meet the highest food hygiene requirements. Aerosol cans, chemical-technical packaging made of tinplate and steel drums must guarantee maximum safety. These special requirements for metal packaging and closures are recognised by the experts at Hubergroup very precisely, as the company has been producing printing inks and lacquers for metal decorations for decades. In order to share its expertise in the design of metal packaging and exchange ideas with manufacturers, the printing ink specialist has now decided to join the Metal Packaging Promotion Association.
Jan Museler, Product Manager Metal Decoration at Hubergroup, explains: „We are delighted to now be a member of the FGM in order to intensify our contacts with the metal packaging industry. Through joint events and working groups, we maintain a close dialogue with manufacturers and work together on current industry topics. At the moment, for example, scarce raw materials and rising energy costs are forcing resource-saving recycling solutions for metal packaging. In future, we as a supplier will be able to better support such development processes and adapt our products to them even faster.“
