On 1 November, SIG appointed Ann-Kristin Erkens as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Erkens was most recently Corporate Senior Vice President Financial and Business Controlling at Henkel, where she was responsible for the Adhesives Technologies division.
Ann-Kristin Erkens worked for 21 years for Handle and has extensive experience in the industrial sector. In addition to her role as Financial Director of the Adhesives Technologies business unit, from 2019 to 2023 she was responsible for the global Operations and Supply Chain Management with over 100 factories and responsible for the European region from 2023. Prior to this, she was Finance Commercial Director for the Packaging and Consumer Goods business unit and the India, Middle East and Africa region as well as Corporate Director of Group Strategy for the Henkel Group.
Ann-Kristin Erkens holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences Wedel, Germany, and a Master of Science in Operations Management from the University of Buckingham, England. She will be based at SIG's headquarters in Switzerland.
