Logistics & Automation will take place in Dortmund and Hamburg in May and June 2024. Preparations for the concept of the two trade fairs are already underway.
With the Logistics & Automation The focus is on concrete solutions. Maria Soloveva, project manager of Easyfairs: „We are not an image fair, but a Platform for exhibitors to exchange ideas with visitors, who often come to the trade fair with very specific questions and projects. This is how it has proven itself and how the intralogistics community appreciates it.“
For exhibitors, this means that they can concentrate on their core business and do not have to invest in their own stand construction: The Organiser offers a complete solution including furniture. In addition, each visitor will receive a „Smart Badge“ which, in conjunction with a reader at each stand, will enable both exhibitors and visitors to easily record their trade fair contacts electronically.

Another plus point: at both locations Logistics & Automation takes place at the same time as the EMPACK instead of. The visitor therefore receives a complete overview of the Trends and innovations in both intralogistics and packaging technology, i.e. across the entire „packaging, storage, conveying, order picking, despatch“ value chain. The exhibitors here include suppliers of packaging (paper/cardboard, plastic, wood, steel) and packaging machines (including printing, marking, labelling, etc.) as well as service providers in the packaging industry.
At many stands and in the supporting programme of Logistics & Automation, the Sustainability of the solutions presented plays an important role and the trade fair itself also sees itself as a role model here.
„Easyfairs has set itself ambitious targets with regard to greenhouse gas emissions as part of its Act for the future programme. They are to be halved by 2030 and climate neutrality is to be achieved by 2050. We are working on this and are making many adjustments - from the selection of trade fair locations and sustainable food procurement for catering to the consistent reduction of waste, e.g. through reusable materials for stand construction.“
