At SPS, Pilz will be focusing on its holistic automation solutions including safety and security for a digitalised industrial world. One of the main topics is safe and flexible connectivity. The focus is on solutions with the configurable small controller PNOZmulti 2, which simplifies direct connection to the field.

In addition Mushroom Miniaturisation as a Drivers of a sustainable industrial transformation at a glance: The expert will be showcasing its new, compact safety gate system PSENmgate, which is both a solenoid interlock and an operating element for safeguarding safety gates. Also on show is the new inductive version of the PSENini safety switch, which no longer requires a proprietary actuator.

Pilz supports a Flexible expansion and fast commissioning of modular and decentralised production systems as an important aspect of a successful transformation. Data communication is a relevant building block for this. It must be designed for maximum flexibility and be able to implement both safety-related and standard communication. Pilz is constantly expanding its portfolio in this area: In Nuremberg the automation company shows how the IO-Link Safety Master PDP67 can process IO-Link Safety, FailSafe as well as IO-Link and standard signals. This enables Seamless communication in the field, whether safety-related or standard communication. The safe radar system PSENradar, which can be easily connected to the open safety protocol Safety over EtherCAT FSoE, will also be presented: This reduces cabling effort and costs.

In addition to its automation solutions, the company will be providing information on the safety and security requirements of the Machinery Directive and presenting the corresponding Pilz range of services. This includes the comprehensive Identification and Access Management I.A.M. Trade fair visitors can find out how I.A.M. contributes to greater safety and industrial security for controlling access to machinery and processes.
