SBM Formulation has introduced the ZetesAtlas serialisation solution to meet increasing traceability and legal requirements. The new technology enables flexible packaging processes and supports the company's sustainability strategy.
SBM Formulation, a supplier of crop protection products, has implemented ZetesAtlas to improve the traceability of its products. The solution is the company's response to the strict regulations in the industry, which increasingly demand serialisation at individual product level. This is particularly important for exports to markets such as Turkey. Cyril Van Caneghem, Site Manager at SBM, emphasised that ZetesAtlas enables the company to Growing requirements for identification standards and at the same time increase the efficiency of operating processes.
ZetesAtlas is used on the company's two main production lines, which process containers with volumes of 1 to 10 litres. The solution allows flexible adaptation of labelling in serialised mode or in batches, with a Production capacity of up to 600 containers per hour. In combination with labelling machines from the MD4000 series, ZetesAtlas offers an automated, precise and sustainable packaging solution.
In addition to traceability, sustainability is a key aspect for SBM. The company has intensified its efforts to reduce energy consumption and CO₂-emissions intensified. The automation provided by ZetesAtlas enables Production errors minimised and resources saved are being implemented.
