Berry Global has launched a versatile, multifunctional drinking lid that complements the company's range of reusable cups and meets market demand for alternatives to single-use plastics.
The new lid is part of Berry's B Circular range, a series of standard packaging solutions for the circular economy. It has been developed to improve the functionality of cups for hot and cold drinks and is designed for flexibility. It is with the standard market diameter of 89 mm and is therefore Compatible with all Berry cups for hot and cold drinks. The leak-proof and liquid-tight lid ensures safe transport and allows you to enjoy hot or cold drinks with or without a straw.
Made largely from recyclable polypropylene (PP), the lid is stackable and dishwasher-safe. It also offers the option of logo embossing with a contrast between matt and glossy surfaces, making it a stylish and practical solution. To support the circular economy the lid, like the cups, for repeated use and designed for resealing.

The lid is available in various standard colours, all of which are approved for reusable products. For black lids, Berry offers a black dye that can be recognised in the near-infrared range (NIR), which enables efficient sorting of black cups and packaging for recycling in countries with an appropriate recycling infrastructure.
