Plastics Recycling Show Europe invites you to Amsterdam

The plastics recycling world will meet on 1 and 2 April at the Plastics Recycling Show Europe in Amsterdam, where the winners of the Plastics Recycling Awards Europe 2025 will also be honoured.

The plastics recycling world will meet on 1 and 2 April at the Plastics Recycling Show Europe in Amsterdam. The exhibition and conference will focus on the latest recycling technologies, the challenges of PPWR and synergies between mechanical and chemical recycling, among other things. The winners of the Plastics Recycling Awards Europe 2025 will also be honoured.

The Plastics Recycling Show Europe, jointly organised by Crain Communications and Plastics Recyclers Europe, is aimed specifically at professionals involved in plastics recycling and the circular use of plastics. It brings together the key players in the plastics and plastics recycling industry to showcase innovative technologies, share best practices, network and do business.

At the event a broad cross-section of the industry represented, including suppliers of machinery and equipment for plastics recycling, suppliers of plastic materials and compounders, pre-processors, mechanical and chemical plastics recyclers, waste management specialists and industry associations. In the year In 2024, PRS Europe attracted more than 11,000 visitors from all over Europe and more than 80 different countries.

According to the organisers, PRS Europe has now firmly established itself as a destination event for the plastics industry from all over Europe and beyond. Many of the long-standing exhibitors have booked larger stands for 2025, while new exhibitors increased demand for exhibition space have. This made it necessary to move to larger halls and so PRSE is being held for the first time in Halls 1 and 5 of the Amsterdam exhibition centre RAI.

In addition to the exhibition, there will be a conference focussing on the latest political, legal, market-related and technological developments in the field of plastics recycling. The programme includes topics relating to overcoming the challenges in EU plastics recycling, the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) and the development of synergies between mechanical and chemical recycling. The programme will also deal in detail with the market outlook and future challenges and trends in achieving the targets for the proportion of recycled content.

In interactive panel discussions, the Global roadmap for plastics recycling, strategies for expanding collection and sorting, the traceability of recycled content and the latest innovations in recycling technologies. It also looks at the current status of recycling PET, polyolefin films, PVC, HDPE, PP, end-of-life vehicles and e-waste.

On the second day of the fair, the winners of the seven prizes of the Plastics Recycling Awards Europe 2025 were announced and all finalists presented. The awards recognise design innovations with recycled content, improved recyclability of plastic products and innovative machines for plastic recycling processes, among other things.

The Registration is free of charge until 1 March 2025, after which a fee of 50 euros will be charged.
