The Jokey Group is launching a fast-mover with its new 1-litre bucket, which reduces the total weight of the packaging to just 30 grams for the complete unit (bucket and lid). This is made possible by the tried-and-tested ThinWall technology developed by Jokey.

The new 1-litre bucket JSLB 1090 is part of the Jokey Slim Line Box series and is primarily used in the food industry. It is particularly suitable for dairy products such as yogurt, quark, or cream cheese. The packaging is made from single-grade polypropylene (PP) and uses Jokey's developed ThinWall technology to minimise weight without compromising stability.

Sustainability and recyclability

A key advantage of the JSLB 1090 is its recyclability. The homogenous polypropylene packaging offers high-quality technical recyclability, making it a resource-efficient solution. Thomas Becker, Chief Operating Officer of Jokey Group, emphasizes the ecological benefits: „With the JSLB 1090, we consistently reduce material weight while maintaining the packaging's performance. This is a win from both an economic and ecological perspective.“

The Interpack 2026 offers the ideal platform for presenting this new packaging solution. Christof Kölschbach, Chief Sales Officer of the Jokey Group, adds: „At the same time, we currently offer the lightest packaging material on the market that meets all customer requirements for 1 kg of yoghurt.“

Material efficiency as a competitive advantage

Through continuous material savings while maintaining quality, Jokey is strengthening its position in the packaging industry. The JSLB 1090 underscores the family-owned company's ambition to combine product protection, premium quality, and industrial efficiency. This is a crucial factor in asserting itself in an increasingly competitive market.
