Menasha Packaging schließt Partnerschaft mit Amazon

Menasha Packaging Company, North America's largest independent provider of packaging and supply chain solutions, has announced a strategic partnership with the Amazon Transparency Programme.

The aim of the collaboration is to support e-commerce brands in the integration of counterfeit-proof packaging solutions and thus strengthen product authenticity and consumer confidence.

The Amazon Transparency programme assigns individual 2D alphanumeric codes to each product, which are checked by Amazon before shipping. This allows counterfeits to be removed from circulation and protects brands from reputational damage.

Menasha Packaging provides comprehensive packaging services for this - from primary to secondary packaging. This is based on the further development of the company's own variable data printing (VDP) technology, which allows unique identification codes to be seamlessly applied to packaging. The company also offers co-packing services that enable efficient and quality-assured implementation within the framework of Amazon's ship-in-product packaging standards.

Michael Manley, Head of Implementation and Transparency Service Provider Network at Amazon, said: „We are delighted to welcome Menasha Packaging to the Transparency Service Provider programme. Their advanced printing technologies and co-packing services enable brands to implement Transparency in an efficient and integrated way.“

According to the company, the cooperation will enable brands to benefit from improved counterfeit protection, greater process efficiency and more direct customer communication.
