Ishida is presenting two new multihead weighers for weighing hard products. Hardware such as screws, nuts, washers or metal fittings can be weighed quickly and accurately.
Due to their hardness and surface properties, ironware presents a particular challenge for fully automatic weighing systems. Nevertheless, manufacturers need to maximise the speed and efficiency of their packaging processes. Ishida meets these requirements with two new CCW RVE multihead weighers. The two machines combine Robustness, reliability and flexibility, to process a variety of products with different dimensions and weights.
Special linings and hard-wearing plastic coatings ensure that the scales can withstand even the toughest conditions. withstand heavy impacts and abrasive effects in the long term. At the same time, noise generation is reduced. Another feature is the smooth and closed contact surfaces, which prevent sharp products from getting stuck or jamming.
The multihead weighers have front trays with enlarged openings for a better product flow. Special spill guards on the weighing pans and on the accumulation pan ensure that no product loss occurs during filling into the packaging. A 10-head model with 5-litre trays and a 14-head model with 3-litre trays are available. The former processes target weights between 105 g and 8 kg at a speed of up to 50 cycles per minute. The second weigher is designed for target weights from 25 g to 2 kg and manages up to 70 cycles per minute. New software enables the Scales to count several hundred thousand products, where the individual piece weight is calculated with an accuracy of up to five decimal places.
