Plastics Europe will be represented at the trade fair with a special show as part of K 2022. On seven themed days, a dialogue forum with presentations and discussion rounds will be set up under the main motto "Plastics shape the future" to promote exchange within the industry.
Everything will be discussed, from the overall social challenges of our time to innovations in the industry to more sustainability and fewer emissions. Organised by Messe Düsseldorf and Plastics Europe Germany presents the Dialogue forum with presentations and discussion rounds on the future of plastics to have your say and think along with usalways closely aligned with the three guiding themes of the KClimate protection - circular economy - digitalisation.
The selection of participants follows a clear pattern: the special show will feature Experts who deal with the green transformation of the industry and a more sustainable economy.
"The K comes at a crucial time. It will send out a strong signal that we, as a plastics industry, will continue on our path towards a circular economy and climate neutrality with all our might, regardless of geopolitical influences. This requires courage, determination and a spirit of innovation, but also industrial freedom and planning security. The current economic situation with extremely high energy prices and the threat of recession is a cold headwind, but it does not change the fact that the circular economy will be the next big success model for the European and German plastics industry!"
