New tray sealing solution from Ishida

With the new QX-900-Flex traysealer, Ishida is meeting the demand for high-performance tray sealing solutions. This increases output, capacity and flexibility.

Ishida presents a new development. The QX-900-Flex traysealer fulfils the market demand for a compact, high-performance solution for tray sealing. It maximises output, capacity and flexibility in medium to high volume production lines.

The Ishida QX-900-Flex traysealer achieves a Speed of up to 15 cycles per minute, what a Output of up to 105 trays is made possible. During tray sealing, packaging in a wide range of formats with and without inert gas as well as a variety of materials such as recycled or recyclable cardboard, mono plastic and the latest variants of Skinpack and Skin on Board are processed.

Space-saving extension for tray sealing

Users can use the QX-900-Flex thanks to its space-saving dimensions as a stand-alone machine or as a component of a fully integrated packaging line. Up to four filling systems and a tray denester can be linked to the machine's control system. The very Controlled outlet simplifies the interface to downstream systems. A printer for batch and barcodes, production and expiry dates and price information can also be integrated.

Simple tool change, quick product change

Intelligent servo drives ensure controlled movements of the sealing mould in the QX-900-Flex traysealer. The exchange can be carried out by one operator using a mould trolley within 10 minutes. Product changes are lightning fast by calling up 99 presets. The robust and hygienic design of the machine enables complete cleaning, whereby the conveyor belts are simply removed. Ishida specifies the tools to meet individual customer requirements including external and internal foil cutting and the integration of peel-off tabs.

Display

Optionally available for the QX-900-Flex is an inert gas atmosphere analysis function with automatic switch-off in the event of incorrect mixing ratios. In addition, a mould head redundancy system enables defective sealing heads to be switched off during ongoing production. The traysealer then continues to work at reduced output and maintenance is carried out at the end of the shift.
