At interpack 2026, Multivac will be showcasing smart packaging solutions that combine efficiency, automation, and sustainability. The focus will be on innovative technologies and digital solutions.

In an industry where efficiency and sustainability are increasingly important, Multivac is setting new standards at interpack 2026. Under the motto „Think connected,“ the company offers a broad spectrum of solutions that address the current challenges of food production.

Multivac demonstrates how modern packaging techniques and processes can be rethought. The portfolio encompasses everything from well-founded packaging consulting and intelligent packaging designs to the use of efficient technologies. The use of sustainable materials is just as much a focus as compliance with regulatory requirements of the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR). The aim is to reduce the CO₂ footprint and promote the circular economy. Digital offerings, such as the digital product passport, create additional transparency along the value chain.

Innovative approaches in production

In the Smart Production sector, Multivac presents integrated line solutions that increase efficiency through the use of robotics and digital solutions. Multivac Smart Services and AI-powered applications ensure greater transparency and higher machine availability. Particular attention is paid to avoiding unplanned downtimes through predictive maintenance.

New Technologies for the Packaging Process

New technologies such as the pixelHEAT and pixelSEAL heating systems optimise the forming and sealing process in thermoforming packaging. These systems enable precise temperature control, allowing for a reduction in material and energy of up to 50 percent. This not only contributes to cost efficiency but also to the conservation of resources.
