Hey Circle has launched the first reusable, foldable packaging on the market with its new XXL box for postal dispatch, which also transports large and heavy goods in order to save costs, waste and CO2 emissions compared to disposable cardboard boxes.
With the XXL box, the pioneer of reusable shipping solutions is also introducing its new design and brings production closer to Europe. The box was developed in response to many customer requests and has already been patented internationally. Hey Circle has also given the boxes in sizes S to XL a makeover to further improve their handling and durability.
Reusable shipping box optimised for parcel shipping
The Hey Circle XXL shipping box, like the XL box (60x40x20 cm), can be sealed with a seal or adhesive seal, has no protruding parts and is designed for around 40 rounds. Parcel service providers do not charge a bulky goods surcharge for transporting the XXL box. The use of the reusable box means that around half of the packaging costs can be saved compared to disposable packaging.
„The development of the XXL box is a direct response to our customers“ wishes for a large, stable, cost-efficient, lightweight, reusable and sustainable shipping solution. In short: something that did not yet exist on the market. We have even developed a new fold for this, for which a patent has already been granted."

New features of the Hey Circle reusable boxes
Much of what the Hey Circle product team learnt during the development of the XXL box can also be found in the other boxes. The material in the boxes contains 30 per cent rPP from post-consumer recyclate. The zip has been replaced with a robust spiral zip and the S and M boxes now also have the so-called self-erecting side walls. This makes it easier to fill the parcels when many orders have to be processed at the same time. All texts are also in English for the international exchange of goods.
GRAI and GTIN for box tracking
Which box do I have in front of me? How often has it been rotated, how much waste has its use saved? Has the customer already returned the box? Do I still have enough packaging in stock? These questions and more can be answered easily if the relevant data is recorded. Every box is labelled with a unique code under the shipping label and can therefore be tracked throughout their life cycle. If you are interested, Hey Circle can also supply the right IT solution - not only for B2C/B2B shipping, but also for intralogistics.
