At this year's interpack in Düsseldorf, the KHS Group will be presenting its compact and flexible solutions, including the newly developed KHS InnoDry Block for container conveying. The Dortmund systems supplier will also be showcasing its innovations in the field of secondary packaging.
The new InnoDry Block With its integrated buffer system, the new container transport system enables gentle, accumulation-free container transport during beverage filling without the need for side guides, according to the company. This means that there is no need for any adjustment work when changing formats. In the field of secondary packaging, KHS Service will be presenting special conversions and a new service concept for packaging machines.
If two or more individual machines can be combined to form a compact block solution, this offers users numerous advantages: This is exactly what the experts have now achieved for the production steps of secondary and tertiary packaging. The KHS InnoDry Block Combines packaging machine with palletiser and has a carrying handle dispenser integrated into the packer. This design is made possible by particularly flexible buffer surfaces and the use of a highly dynamic manipulation system to create layer patterns (Fig.), which is being used for the first time in the blocked machine concept. In favour of the compact block solution are Shorter transport distances and the resulting significant reduction in maintenance costs.
