Hugo Beck, a leading manufacturer of horizontal packaging machines, announces the appointment of Simon Beck and Jonas Beck as Managing Directors. As grandsons of company founder Hugo Beck, they are now the third generation of the Beck family to run the company.
The appointments follow the departure of Timo Kollmann as Managing Director, who wishes to take on a new professional challenge after 20 years at Hugo Beck. During his career, he has played a central role in promoting innovative solutions, strengthening the company's market position and its overall development.
„After many fulfilling years in the management of Hugo Beck, I have decided to take on a new professional challenge. I am convinced that the company is in the best hands under the leadership of the Beck family and look forward to following its continued successful development.“

Curt-Jürgen Raiser will remain in his role as Managing Director until his well-deserved retirement in October 2025. After almost 30 years with the company, his experience guarantees a smooth transition and a consistently high level of reliability for customers during the handover phase, according to Dettingen an der Erms.
This milestone reinforces Hugo Beck's identity as a family-run company - a tradition that has characterised the company's values and long-term strategic thinking since it was founded in 1955. Over the past seven decades, the company has from a small mechanical workshop to a globally recognised supplier of customised packaging and automation solutions. With a global customer base and machines used in numerous industries for a wide range of products and packaging types, Hugo Beck continues to deliver flexible, efficient and sustainable technologies for film and paper packaging.
Simon Beck, who has been with Hugo Beck for six years, takes over responsibility for the technical areas of the company. As production manager and authorised signatory, he was closely involved in day-to-day operations and contributed to the further development of technical processes. He has a degree in industrial engineering and previously gained experience in industry as an assembly manager with a focus on process optimisation. His background in the design of packaging machines and manufacturing processes brings both expertise and continuity to his new role.
Jonas Beck joined Hugo Beck in January 2025 and takes over responsibility for the commercial areas. With the same background in industrial engineering and previous roles in controlling, logistics and process management, he brings valuable expertise in the area of corporate strategy. His focus will be on aligning the company's offering with the market and building long-term customer relationships.
„We are proud to continue the legacy of our family and at the same time make the company fit for the future. We would like to thank Timo Kollmann and Curt-Jürgen Raiser for their significant contribution to the development and direction of Hugo Beck in recent years. Our aim is to build on this foundation and ensure that Hugo Beck remains a reliable partner in the horizontal packaging sector, known for both its technical expertise and close collaboration with its customers.“

„In this new chapter, we will continue to focus on precision engineering, innovation and the development of film and paper packaging solutions that meet the real needs of our customers. We are determined to build on what we have achieved and at the same time respond flexibly to new challenges and opportunities in our industry.“
