Ball Corporation with change at the top

The Supervisory Board of the packaging manufacturer has appointed Ronald J. Lewis as Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect.

Ball Corporation has announced extensive management changes. The packaging manufacturer's Supervisory Board has appointed Ronald J. Lewis as Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors with immediate effect. Lewis succeeds Daniel W. Fisher, who is leaving the company.

At the same time, Stuart A. Taylor II was elected Chairman of the Board. In addition, Daniel J. Rabbitt takes over the position of Chief Financial Officer.

Lewis was previously Chief Supply Chain and Operations Officer and was responsible for the Group's global production and supply chain activities. Since joining in 2019, he has led the expansion of Ball's businesses in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. He previously held senior positions at Coca-Cola EuroPacific Partners, Mars and Cargill. Lewis said he was honoured to build on Ball's heritage and work with the team to create value for customers, shareholders and communities.

Taylor has been a member of Ball's Supervisory Board since 1999 and has many years of experience in investment banking, M&A and corporate management. The new CFO Rabbitt has been in office on an interim basis since May 2025 and has worked for Ball since 2004. He has held various leadership roles, including head of the aerosol business and senior vice president of corporate planning and development.

According to the company, Ball confirms its forecast of earnings per share growth of 12 to 15 per cent for the full year 2025 and expects strong free cash flow and a sustainable increase in value for shareholders.
