The Nefab Group has acquired the Dutch packaging specialists Jase Packaging and Heuman Verpakkingen. According to the company, the move expands its portfolio of complete packaging solutions and strengthens Nefab's position on the Dutch market.
The acquisition complements Nefab's existing offering in areas such as cleanroom services, test lab infrastructure and full-service packaging solutions. Jase is primarily known for wood-based packaging and HD corrugated combinations, while Heuman is active in the field of packaging services. Both companies will be fully integrated into the Nefab structure.
Expansion of sustainable solutions for industrial and technology customers
According to Nefab, the integration of the two providers supports the strategic objective of further expanding resource-saving packaging solutions. Wood-based solutions and complementary services will be more widely available in future, particularly for customers in the healthcare and semiconductor industries. The owners of Jase and Heuman explained that Nefab's growth strategy and focus on resource efficiency are in line with their own corporate values.
Larger network and broader market presence
As a result of the takeover, Nefab's workforce will grow to over 5,000 employees in 38 countries. The company emphasises that the merger will create both environmental and economic benefits for customers. With the additional capacity in the Netherlands, Nefab strengthens its regional presence and at the same time expands its globally orientated range of solutions.
