Xolution is investing in a new production and development centre in Dachau. The aim is to increase the production of resealable beverage cans and meet market demands more efficiently.

The packaging industry is facing the challenge of meeting increasing demands for sustainability and convenience. Resealable beverage cans are a promising solution for meeting the growing expectations of consumers. In this context, Xolution has broken ground on a new production and development centre in Dachau.

New centre in Dachau

At its new location in NU Park Dachau, Xolution is consolidating administration, research & development, and production for the first time. This strategic decision enables the company to design more efficient processes and drive forward the further development of its patented XO technology. The technology makes it possible to design standard drinks cans to be resealable, meeting market demands for greater convenience and sustainability.

By merging the existing production sites in Bremen and the Czech Republic in Dachau, Xolution plans to increase production capacity to up to 900 million XO Lids per year. This investment is a clear signal to the beverage and packaging industry that resealable beverage cans are set to play a bigger role in the market in the future.

Advantages of XO Technology

Xolution's patented XO technology offers manufacturers the ability to integrate resealable packaging into existing production and filling processes without the need for extensive adjustments. This facilitates access to this innovation while simultaneously offering benefits in the areas of product protection and sustainability. „With the new location, we are laying the foundation for our next steps in growth,“ explains Marc von Rettberg, CEO of Xolution Germany GmbH.

The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by representatives from politics, business and the project developer Concrete Capital Real Estate.
