A World Star Award 2017 in the ‚Medical and Pharmaceutical‘ category was presented to the Spin'n'dose™ tube from Hoffmann Neopac. The Spin'n'dose™ tube allows semi-solid products such as creams and gels to be dispensed easily and accurately.
After a minimal change to the dosing system the dosing wheel now delivers precisely predefined doses of between 0.05 and 1 ml instead of just 0.5 or 1 ml from the tube. When selecting the packaging material, the dosing quantity can therefore be customised to the formulation and the active ingredient.
A new concept without a pump
Airless and pump tubes are already an integral part of the Swiss company's tube range and are well established both in the trade and among users. It becomes difficult with creams or gels that are highly viscous or for which the doctor's prescription requires a large quantity to be dispensed at once. This is where the new Spin'n'dose™ The innovative dosing wheel dispenses a clearly defined quantity from the tube with a 180° turn, which helps consumers to adhere exactly to the prescribed quantity. And all without a pump.
