A management trio has been at the helm of Schubert Fertigungstechnik GmbH since 1 September 2018. On the day of his 50th anniversary with the company, the previous Managing Director Manfred Grieser handed over the management of the company to his sons Jens and Marc Grieser and Technical Director Bernd Fuchs.
Since 2003 was Manfred Grieser Co-partner and Managing Director of Schubert Fertigungstechnik GmbH. The CNC machining specialist now employs 90 people. Manfred Grieser began his apprenticeship as a machine fitter at the former Höfliger und Karg company in 1968. He rose through the ranks at the company in various positions, including becoming Head of Work Preparation in 1982.
Schubert manufacturing technology manufactures precision parts and machine components and goes back to the company Höfliger and Karg, which was taken over in 1977 and was initially part of the Schubert Group as Schubert and Edelmann, the market leader for precision parts and machine components. Production capacities expanded, automation advanced
As Managing Director, Manfred Grieser was primarily responsible for the Start of automated production in 2009. Various construction projects also fell under his aegis. In 2007, a new administration building was constructed, and in 2012, production capacity was expanded to 3,000 square metres with the construction of a further production hall. In 2015, the fourth automated machining centre was put into operation. Finally, a third 1,000 square metre hall was built in 2018.
Grieser's successors bring very different skills to the company management. The 47-year-old Bernd Fuchs has been with the company for 30 years. He has been Technical Director since 2017. In future, he will be in charge of production, quality assurance, programming and training. To the Jens Grieser is 37 years old, a trained industrial mechanic and a graduate engineer. As Managing Director, he will be responsible for Technical Sales and Purchasing. Marc Grieser, at 32 the youngest of the three managing directors, completed a dual study programme at the WMF Group, where he worked in marketing and later in controlling with personnel responsibility. He takes over the commercial management.
