Gebo Cermex has received a „PPMA Industry Award 2018“ for its collaborative robot solution „CoboAccess_Pal“. The award was presented by the British trade association for suppliers of processing and packaging machinery at the end of September 2018.
The Cobot the world's leading provider of the latest Packaging plant engineering and material handling won in the best innovative robot solution category. The award recognised the intelligent use of robot technology and software to increase productivity, reduce costs and improve safety.
„The robust palletising cobot, which is particularly suitable for Low-speed applications is an expression of our company's commitment to the Industry 4.0 project. Palletising cell without a protective grid was designed to perfectly fulfil the reliability requirements of very demanding production environments,“ comments Marc Daniel, Vice President of Global Sales Equipment and Services at Gebo Cermex, on the award.
