Tim Slomp is the new Technical Managing Director of Uhlmann Pac-Systeme GmbH & Co. KG from Laupheim. As the system provider for pharmaceutical packaging announced in mid-December 2017, the 53-year-old Dutchman will take on the new role on 1 January 2018.
The previous Technical Managing Director, Peter Wagner, left the company in June 2017.
Management completed
The management of the Baden-Württemberg-based company is therefore complete again and consists of Tim Slomp from the Chairman Norbert Gruber and Siegfried Drost. According to the company, the management trio sees its task for the coming months as continuing the trend towards rising sales and incoming orders and to further develop the Internationalisation business activities.
Tim Slomp can look back on many years of experience at various Packaging machine manufacturers back. His previous professional positions include KHS, Multivac and Körber Medipak Systems. Most recently, Slomp was CEO at Medseal.
Chairman of the Uhlmann Supervisory Board Tobias Uhlmann called the new manager „a technical generalist with strong leadership skills“. „He will help us to continuously improve and strategically expand our offering,“ added Uhlmann.
