Mondi is planning to invest around 30 million euros in its plant in Ansbach. This will be used to build a state-of-the-art corrugated board plant, which is scheduled to go into operation in the course of 2020.
With the new system Mondi Corrugated Packaging according to its own information its portfolio in the Heavy-duty corrugated board strengthen. Production capacity is set to increase by a double-digit percentage. The particularly stable corrugated cardboard can be used for triple-walled cardboard packaging which can replace transport containers made of solid wood or metal.

For the future, we believe that applications for bulky goods in the construction industry, agriculture and e-commerce offer good prospects in terms of the need and demand for environmentally friendly corrugated board packaging solutions.“
