Dr Martin Engelmann is the new Managing Director of the IK Industrievereinigung Kunststoffverpackungen e. V. He succeeds IK Managing Director Dr Jürgen Bruder, who will retire at the end of 2019 after more than 28 years of IK association work.
Engelmann, a lawyer, has been Managing Director of the Association of the German Paint and Printing Ink Industry (VdL) since 2015. Dr Engelmann will take up his new duties at IK on 1 December 2019 at the latest.
„We are delighted to have found Dr Martin Engelmann, a Managing Director with experience of the association,“ explains IK President Roland Straßburger. „The challenges facing our industry require strategic foresight, sustainable networks and strong communication. The conditions for a successful handover of the baton have been created by the previous management team and we wish Dr Engelmann the very best of success today.“
